SS-series are made from AISI 304 stainless steel to provide high corrosion protection over a wide range of operating temperatures.Working load and tensile strength are lower than on the corresponding steel roller chain. Stainless steel chains are ideal for acidic or alkaline environments, or where the stainless steel chain will be exposed to water, and for very high or very low temperature locations, -40°C to +400°C where resistance to corrosion is a requirement.Stainless Steel Chain should be selected when resistance to chemical action is critical.
