Multiple V-belts CONTI−V® Multibelt are produced by joining several single V-belts into a wide belt. The cross-sections and the power transmission capacity remain the same as in single belts. They are used in order to eliminate single belt oscillations in machines with peaking and alternating loads or in drives with long distances between axles. On request, we supply multiple belts with strengthened polyester or kevlar tensile filaments.
Application:
Multiple V-belts CONTI−V® Multibelt are used in agricultural machines, machine tools, crushers, fans and in other machines with uneven loads and longer distances between pulleys. They are most often used in combine harvesters and other reaping machines.

Multiple V-belts CONTI−V® Multibelt are manufactured in standard coated cross-sections 3V(9J) * 5V(15J) * 8V(25J) * SPZ * SPA * SPB * SPC * A/HA * B/HB * C/HC * D/HD.

Warning: It is only possible to use standard pulleys SPZ * SPA * SPB * SPC with standard multiple V-belts SPZ * SPA * SPB * SPC. Multiple V-belts 3VJ * 5VJ * 8VJ and HA * HB * HC * HD require special pulleys as the groove spans e [mm] are different!
